Refresher training of Minority Facilitation Desks (Hyderabad Range)

Civil Society Support Programme (CSSP) , in collaboration with DIGP Hyderabad Range,conducted refresher trainings to enhance the efficiency of the Minority Facilitation Desks staff across nine districts of Hyderabad. Held at the Police Headquarters in Hyderabad, the training was divided over three days. On the first day, participants from District Hyderabad, Matiari, and Jamshoro attended. On the second day, participants from Sujawal, Thatta, and Dadu were present. The third day saw attendees from Badin, Tando Allahyar, and Tando Muhammad Khan. A total of 81 police officials participated, including the SP Headquarters, DSPs, staff from Minority Facilitation Desks, the Minority Complaint Cell, and Hyderabad Range staff. The training covered topics such as pro-minority laws and the Constitution of Pakistan, the roles and functions of Minority Facilitation Desks, complaint and redressal mechanisms, and documentation and reporting procedures.
